GOLDIE: 1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia
Meet Goldie: 1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia
Goldie, a 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia, was one of the original JUSTGO campervans — part of the first fleet that helped travellers experience Vancouver Island from the road.
With her unmistakable vintage Westfalia character, pop-top design and classic 1980s VW styling, Goldie became part of road trips stretching across the Island - from campgrounds and coastlines to forests, ferries and spontaneous stops along the way.
Goldie was part of the original JUSTGO story, that started in 2017.

Goldie On The Road
The Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia became one of the defining campervans of its era, combining the compact footprint of a Volkswagen van with a camper interior designed around life on the road.
Goldie brought that experience to Vancouver Island as part of the original JUSTGO fleet.
She is not simply a way to get from one destination to another. The van became part of the trip itself — a place to travel, stop, camp and wake up somewhere new.
Every trip added another chapter.
Travellers took Goldie to campgrounds, communities and destinations across Vancouver Island, capturing their own moments with her along the way.
The Road Trips Goldie Made Possible
Goldie became part of years of Vancouver Island road trips, traveller experiences and original photos and videos captured along the way.
Every traveller took her somewhere different. Every trip added another story.
And many of those travellers shared those adventures with us - creating a growing archive of what exploring Vancouver Island in a JUSTGO campervan actually looked and felt like.
