DRIVERS justgo vans may only be driven by an authorized driver, 23 years of age or over. An authorized driver is the renter and any additional person(s) who appears at the time of rental, provides their drivers licence & has agreed to justgo Rental Terms & Conditions. All authorized drivers must satisfy our age requirements, have a valid driver's license, provide a physical street address, possess a major credit card in their own name, and fulfill our other qualifications. justgo reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at our own discretion and to those who do not meet our qualification criteria at any time. Please ensure you are able to drive the van you are reserving i.e. if it is manual (standard) shift.

INSURANCE Basic Third Party Liability, Comprehensive, and Collision Insurance is included during the duration of the rental under ICBC. Some credit cards and Canadian personal car insurance policies do provide rental insurance so please check with your credit card provider and personal auto insurance policy for details. Renters are responsible for the deductible in the event of an at-fault accident or other incident.

PAYMENT Full payment of invoice is required to confirm your booking.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT The standard damage deposit is $500. This will be charged on your invoice prior to pickup & refunded within 10-14 business days after drop-off via the same method of payment.

CANCELLATIONS Because of our very seasonal nature, justgo's cancellation policy as as follows: 25% processing fees apply on all cancellations more than one month prior to pickup. Cancellations within 1 month of pickup will be charged 50% of the total invoiced amount. Cancellations within two weeks will be charged 75% of the total invoiced amount. If cancelled within one week of pick-up, or the Customer is a no show / unable to provide 2+ pieces of acceptable identification documentation & valid credit card information, as well as meet additional qualification terms prior to pickup or on-site, then 100% of the rental cost will apply. ***Due to the evolving global situation with COVID-19, justgo is offering full credit for future travel within the next 2 years if traveller must cancel due to changing travel restrictions / recommendations.

PICKUP & DROPOFF justgo is located @ 211 Poplar Street - Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island - just minutes away from the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal or 15 minutes from Nanaimo Airport or Duke Point Ferry Terminal. justgo vans & Jeeps can be picked up at 3pm. At the time of checking in, we will do an orientation of your rental. Vehicles must be returned by 11am on your return date. There may be occasions in which your van could be ready for early pickup, depending on when it came back in. In this instance you may be offered early pickup and charged accordingly, whether a half day rate or hourly. Because the van will be destined for its next rental guest check-in and will need to be prepped, a minimum $150 late charge will automatically be applied to the deposit on file if not returned on time. If rental is returned 2+ hours late, you will automatically be charged for another night. There are no refunds for early return. Upon return, any damages or missing parts or items will be charged out at quoted market rates, which will come off of your damage deposit, once assessed and quoted. Renter will be responsible, not dispute and will be further billed for any damages that exceed the damage deposit amount.

RENTAL PERIOD The minimum rental period is 3-5 nights depending on the time of year. If it appears we have openings shorter than that time period, we may approve at our own discretion. Please email your request.

KILOMETRE ALLOWANCE Each rental comes with a 150 kilometre per day allowance. This is calculated over the duration of the rental. If the allowance is exceeded the additional kilometres will be charged out at $0.40/km. Additional kilometre charges, if applicable, will be the number of kilometres driven as determined by the odometer readings at the beginning and end of the rental. Renters have an option to purchase unlimited kilometres at a rate of $25/day for travel on Vancouver Island only & $50/day on Jeeps travelling off-Island.

TAXES & FEES GST (Goods and Services Tax) and associated PST (Provincial Sales Tax) will be applied to your rental.

CLEANING FEE A $50 cleaning fee applies to each rental regardless of the length of the rental period.

PAYMENT justgo accepts Credit Card & Paypal for rental charges and full payment is due upon booking.

FUEL POLICY The renter is responsible for fuelling up the rental van with the correct type of fuel, whether gasoline or diesel. If renter fills the van with the wrong type of fuel, renter is fully responsible for damages that occur as a result. The renter must refill or top-up the tank of the vehicle within a 10 kilometre radius of the drop-off location and present a receipt to avoid a refuelling charge unless the renter chooses the prepaid fuel option @ $100. If the renter chooses the prepaid fuel option, they are under no obligation to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel. If renter returns van having not filled or topped-up the tank, renter will automatically be billed $150 which will be deducted from the damage deposit, regardless of how full the van has come back.

ROUTES & RESTRICTIONS justgo camper vans can be driven on Vancouver Island only. Some exceptions may apply, please contact us with any specific inquiries. Driving in justgo vans must be done on paved roads unless previously approved by justgo. Any driving done on unsurfaced roads is not permitted. Renter is fully liable for any damages, towing charges and other expenses that arise as a result of operating in restricted areas.

MECHANICAL ISSUES justgo does a full mechanical and safety inspection of every van prior to the start of the season, and throughout the season. They are maintained by Certified Volkswagen Mechanics on a regular basis. In the event of any mechanical issues or accidents, contact justgo right away. We will do everything we can to get you back on the road quickly & safely.

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE Each justgo van comes with Roadside Assistance on Vancouver Island. You can also use your own BCAA / CAA Roadside Membership. If a problem occurs due usual causes of wear and tear, justgo will bear all the charges. Please contact justgo if you have any issues.

DAMAGE / ACCIDENTS If a van breaks down or is involved in an accident due to the renter at fault, renter will bear all associated charges. Additional costs such as loss of use, diminishment of value, tow and storage fees may also applicable. If an accident occurs, a police report must be filed and justgo must be notified immediately.

SMOKING/PETS No smoking allowed in justgo vans. Pets only on pre-approval with an additional cleaning fee. Violation is subject to a minimum of $350 to maximum of $1500 cleaning charges.

SAFETY All justgo vans are equipped with a fire extinguisher & carbon monoxide detector. Should an alarm sound, please evacuate the van and call justgo if you require assistance.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY You are responsible for all of your personal contents left in your justgo rental van at all times. Any theft, loss or damage of any and all personal items are not are not the responsibility of justgo, its Owners, Directors or Employees at any time while the van is being rented or thereafter. Renters, family members and guests will hold harmless justgo, its Owners, Directors, Officers and Employees for any and all liability issues or personal injuries related to the rental of camper van, its use and operation thereof.

This policy is accepted by renter, all drivers & passengers of justgo vans upon reservation & payment.
